Dianthus Noverna Grower Fact

Dianthus barbatus Noverna

Description
This is the first series of dwarf, compact, first-year flowering (no vernalization required) Sweet William. They are 100% annual Sweet William, as they require No vernalisation period. Noverna is basal branching with an upright habit. It performs like a bedding plant and will continue to grow and to produce an abundance of flowers all season long. Noverna produces multiple, sweet scented, large flower clusters with single flowers. The foliage is dark green. Noverna fits nicely into the "multi-use plant" concept, as it is very flexible. It can be produced as a Spring, Summer and early Autumn container plant. Its excellent garden performance usage means it is a good patio plant or colour bowl component. Noverna Purple and Noverna Clown have been awarded a Fleuroselect Gold Medal. Clown is a 'living' colour, opening white and changing to purple, pink or salmon while ageing.
